 Brother James Wyatt is the pastor of New Haven Baptist Church, located at 421 Old Hwy 79, Dover.  Bro. James has been the pastor of New Haven for three years.  The church has many ministries including an active youth and children ministry, a men's ministry, woman's ministry, and couples ministry.  There is worship choir, a blossoming puppet ministry, as well as many ongoing service projects.  For girls and boys age 5 - 12, there are Royal Ambassadors and Girls in Action on Sunday nights at 5:30.  These clubs are similar to scouts with an emphasis on Christian missions.  The worship music is a blend of modern praise and traditional hymns.  Dress at New Haven runs the range from very casual to Sunday best.  At New Haven come as you are!

Bro. James works full time secular job as superintendent for Brownell Contractors.  He and his wife, Misty are life-long residents of Stewart County, and have three daughters, Muranda, Alex, and Cassie.  In his spare time, James enjoys playing guitar, deer hunting and golfing.
